The Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars clashed in the 9th match of the PSL tournament. The Skipper Shane Watson was incredible. The senior Misbah Ul Haq was not playing in the match, therefore Watson also had added responsibility over his shoulder as the opening batsman and the skipper of the Islamabad team.
The crowd was huge in the Sharjah Stadium, they were loving their team Islamabad United. It is filled with star players as we know. The state of Sharjah is known for its cricket craze for decades.
The love seeing Pakistan cricket played there. The annual Sharjah Cup that was discontinued in the last decade in Sharjah was the major tournament that got this state the cricket fame from the 80s. The great sixer of Javed Miandad is known for the history of Sharjah. Now the sixer of Shane Watson has made another history last night for PSL.
Watson playing for PSL just coming back from New Zealand is a great honor. United team is proud to have him as their skipper. The sixer he hit in this video is nothing short of extraordinary. His innings got them to victory.
Too bad he got out just a few minutes before the winnings shot was played by Sharjeel Khan as a sixer. Sharjeel hit two consecutive sixes to win the match before 25 balls remaining.
Gohar was the bowler. Gohar wanted to throw the ball to the leg side where Watson could become leg before wicket.
